”The master’s thesis consists of a collaborative work in the frame of the I-CAST Registry, an international multicenter observational study investigating different aspects of cancer-related strokes by combining specific databases on the subject.
The student will help the study team by coordinating data collection with participating sites. Once the data are available, the student will participate in compiling data from the various sites into a single database.
The student will write a narrative thesis including a literature review on the use of multicenter registries with a focus on their use in cancer-related strokes and his/her personal experience in the frame of the I-CAST Registry.
Several projects based on data from the I-CAST Registry are planned, one of which may be the student's dissertation in a second stage.”
